Buttons

Welcome to the New and Improved faster/meaner/better/always available Buttons!. I hope you find this tool useful. Simply fill out one of the forms and a GIF will be returned to you. If you want to create a lot of buttons you might like to use the direct cgi-bin interface.

If you muck up any of the fields, you may not get a sensible reply. The following form is populated with the default values.

Label   Foreground 
Scale   Colour List
Border 
Spacer 
Font    Font List

For Example

The Header button: /cgi-bin/button?label=Buttons!&scale=1
The Warning button: /cgi-bin/button?label=Warning!&scale=0.75&fg=Red

How does it all work?

Well now that it's new and improved, it's not really such a hack. I convert bdf fonts to a pbm (using pbmtext) then with my custom program I add on the borders and do the colour changes.
